Wolfsgart 6.0

August 18th, 2015

Friday, mid-morning, July 31st, I loaded my car up, strapped the cooler to the roof, and started my 4 and a half hour, 197 mile trek through gorgeous, winding backroads to the heart of Vermont. Located in the beautiful city of Burlington, Vermont, is the premiere German and European car show known as Wolfsgart. Founded in 2010, Wolfsgart has been bringing respectable car owners and enthusiasts together for a fun filled 3 day weekend.

The show began Saturday, cars were rolling in, though the judging didn’t begin until Sunday, but it allowed for spectators to get a look at all the cars arriving. The vendor booths were up and running while the DJ was keeping everyone in a good mood with great music.

Sunday started off with car limbo, for bagged cars, to prove how low you could go. Lots of contenders, but it came down to a del sol and a bmw in the final round. Judges were walking around all day, looking at all the cars. One interesting car from Maine caught my attention, the first ever vr6 swapped Volkswagen Fox.

Toward the afternoon, everyone was called to the Alpha Class hangar, to present the awards. The weekend wrapped up after that, and I packed up my things and headed back to Maine. It was a great time checking out all the cars and spending the weekend with good friends, I will certainly be back next year for my 3rd time at Wolfsgart. Hope you enjoy our coverage!
